Monster's case has no grounds and it will likely be dismissed. They have to prove damages and just because a city attorney calls for tighter regulations or restrictions does not constitute damage. They just want him to shut up so they can peddle their wares to children unfettered. In many aspects, corporate America is out of control and are willing to make money at the expense of the public good including children. How it is good to get kids addicted to caffeine is beyond me.

Bizarre that the attorney is singling out monster when red bull seems to do the most marketing and therefore is more visible to children, but maybe its because Monster is based in California. Maybe this suit is just to get this guy of their backs. It may seem like I'm backing Monster, and I do enjoy a can of original green Monster, but I'm also glad the FDA is looking into it.
