The shooting was a tragedy, but does anyone really think that limiting the ammunition that LAW ABIDING citizens can keep and bear would have stopped that shooter? How many laws did he break? Did he obey ANY laws that keep law abiding citizens from doing what he did?

Criminals don't obey laws. That's why they are criminals. Restricting the freedom of law abiding citizens is not the way to solve this problem. Everyday in America hundreds of people are killed or injured when someone who has been drinking drives. That is against the law. Is the solution to limit the amount of gas that we can purchase? Would that stop a criminal from driving drunk?

Nothing can bring back the lives of those who were lost, but surrendering freedom so that people can pretend that they have solved the problem is not the thing to do.
