Saw this kid run as a sophomore at state cross country and he was unmatched winning by nearly a full minute. I then saw him last year in a rainstorm sprint with the Nye kid from Davis the last 400 meters in a cross country meet on wet grass. I think he lost, but it was apparent that he is some kind of competitor. His "swagger," however, is all on the course. He actually seems pretty humble when not racing. He's all business, but seems focused on himself and his own performance than the sometimes "look at me" attitude in elite athletes. Kudos' to his character and training dedication. I look forward to watching him at the BYU invite and state; just to say I did!!!! - A Respectful Admirer
