Unfortunate that you think a little gossip is worse than the gross and likely illegal invasion of privacy.

Mitch mcConnell stated, "My job is to make Obama a one-term president."

I think all hope for him to lead was lost then and there. You cannot lead when your top desire is merely to destroy one person's political career.

Just to be clear...someone privately expressing their unflattering opinion of a handfull of lame democrats is defined as gossip? Wow...learn something new everyday.
Now let me guess, this letter writer thinks Mr. Obama and his democrat senators are the antithesis of all the litny of eveils he just described in his letter. Productive, non-finger-pointers, and not seeking 15 minutes of fame? Sorry if I disagree, but I find most dems to be phoney, lying, big government worshippers, who cant get enough of turning the population into dependant, regulated stooges. They have a warped since of how facts and dates lineup together, and most don't have a productive bone in their body. Chew on that GOSSIP for a while!

Lost.... exactly where did you read the author saying it was worse? I didn't see that anywhere. What, there can only be wrong doing by one side... and of course in your world that is the liberal side?

HaHa person - so your point is gossip is ok, because the other side does it too. Is that how we set our moral standards? Poor behavior by one side is justified by poor behavior by the other. Next time your kids do something wrong and claim as their defense "that the other kids were doing it".... lets see how that rational works for you.... why not chew on that for a while.... or if your not old enough to have kids, you will see how inane that argument is when you do..

If someone has to win by making their opponent look bad (liberal or conservative), it generally point to the fact that they have nothing positive going for themselves. If you have to make the other person look bad, for you to look good... you don't have very much going on for you.... regardless of party, team, religion or whatever.

RE: BDevil
In Lost's response to the letter writer, its not a great stretch to conclude that the lettere writer was calling out what he determined to be "worse" behavior by the GOP, since he never mentions negative behavior by his and your own side. I know when your biaa, its easy to overlook these things.

As for my response to the letter, thanks for the preachy sermon on my lack of character and social habits. I am perfectly willing to admit imperfection, and that there are better ways then mine. Sorry did I miss your response letters where you expressed regret for your misleadings and mean spiritedness? Couldn't get them past the DN editors. Darn, I know how that is! However, I don't write ridicules, myopic and one sided letters to the editor like this. I only respond to them, when they attack my side, and especially ignore all the stupidity on the other side. Yes mine may be more mean spirited then yours, but I don't apologize for that!

"orry did I miss your response letters where you expressed regret for your misleadings and mean spiritedness?"

YOu must have... in the shale oil piece a few days ago I misread a response by "happy valley" I think it was and responded with a shale gas example.... which didn't apply. After having my mistake pointed out.... I apologized for the mistake. Look it up... it is out there for all to see.

"Yes mine may be more mean spirited then yours, but I don't apologize for that!"

Imagine my surprise.
