Congratulations to jake for earning the starting job at a BCS school. He can now fulfill his dream to try and earn a prestigious BCS bowl invite.
Sincerely,Fellow BCS member
Chris B,Hmmm. I wonder how much thought goes into your comments
because they are rarely logical. Even when a great logical slam is evident, you
head to the illogical. So, Jake couldn't earn a starting spot at
BYU but does at K-State and somehow you jump to a conclusion that he has a shot
at a BCS game? Get real! If BYU is as bad as you continually lead on that they
are, logic would say that K-State has the real problems. And, if Heaps were
such a hot commodity, why weren't all the real BCS contenders beating down
his door. While I wish Jake well, I am confident that he is NOT taking K-State
to a BCS bowl.
I wonder if he'll wear the green jersey or face a real rush. Wishing Heaps
good luck with the season and hope he's enjoying Kansas. Also
couldn't help but notice the name on the football he's holding. Wonder
if he took it from a former teammate or uses it as motivation to keep the
starting job. Hahaha
Chris B = BYU fan posing as a Utah fanThe funny part is that many
BYU fans haven't figured out the tired routine and continue to fall for it,
giving Chris B the attention he craves.
Mark3054,Good argument until you realize that Heaps is at Kansas and
not Kansas State. Kinda makes you lose credibility when you can't get
stuff like that right.I wonder if Heaps knows that he won't be
able to play the game with the green jersey on. He never liked to be hit. I
can't imagine he does much for Kansas to help turn their program around.
He just doesn't have what it takes to be a quarterback and Weis has already
proved that he doesn't have what it takes to be a good coach.
I think any real BYU fan and anyone that has a heart wishes Heaps the best. I
think he is in for a long year but I also hope he does well. Kansas is generally
not a power house. But we will see how they do. Could not do much worse than
1-11 last year. Chris B who?
Big difference between K-State and Kansas. One has a proven college coach and
every once in a while threatens for a national title and one has a former NFL
guru at offense which can't seem to figure out the college game yet.
That's the one Heaps plays for...
Comical how some ute fans still hide behind the title of BCS; the BCS is good so
that means I'm good. That shield of form over substance isn't big
enough to cover up the cellar dweller teams. The only BCS team in Utah
didn't receive a bowl bid or invitation to a post season BB tournament
while the Aggies and Cougars did.
Getting invited to some minor bowl game isn't an achievement.
