Glad to hear he treated your son well.Bottom line, he stole money
and got caught. He deserved to be fired and was. End of story.
The potential financial impropriety is way more of a problem than the
"abuse" of players. We live in a society where everyone is becoming
wussified. No one can fail or be criticized since they might feel bad and lose
self esteem. Too bad. The occasional critical remarks or "yelling" at
players is part of the deal. You want to play sports, you will get yelled at
occasionally. My self esteem didn't suffer at all in my sports days when I
got yelled at by a coach. It made me want to work harder.
Teachers are under scrutiny few of us could bear. Although I am not a teacher
myself, I wonder if Mr. Dubach has been treated fairly. Based on reading this,
I'm pretty sure people ought to give him plenty of benefit of the doubt.
