Thank you Don and Robyn Shelton for this article. Thank you for speaking out and defending a man who has done a lot of good for a lot of people. It's very touching to hear about how Mark and his teams have embraced and accepted your son.

Teachers are under scrutiny few of us could bear. Although I am not a teacher myself, I wonder if Mr. Dubach has been treated fairly. Based on reading this, I'm pretty sure people ought to give him plenty of benefit of the doubt.

The potential financial impropriety is way more of a problem than the "abuse" of players. We live in a society where everyone is becoming wussified. No one can fail or be criticized since they might feel bad and lose self esteem. Too bad. The occasional critical remarks or "yelling" at players is part of the deal. You want to play sports, you will get yelled at occasionally. My self esteem didn't suffer at all in my sports days when I got yelled at by a coach. It made me want to work harder.

Bottom line, he stole money and got caught. He deserved to be fired and was. End of story.
