Having flown within and been TDY on a routine basis in Korea from 1974-1977 and 1980-1983, we have spent equivalent amount of dollars since the early 1950s and lost more people's lives there than in Iraq. We have spent a fortune keeping that part of the world safer for our purposes and national security after the Korean and WWII.

We are a beacon for the world even though we have done some things wrong in the past. We released plenty of people from despots but cannot do that without policies and plans in place instead of shooting at the hip.

We have done a lot of things for the benefit of the world. However, we have people that love power and prestige as puppets at times. Honesty and Integrity are principles our forefathers and especially founding fathers wanted for us in memoriam.

The electorate is not doing their part and voting. We have allowed a few to vote for our elected officials. There is more of a public responsibility that we need to do. We are satisfied to go to recreational and sports activities and pay for the high salaries of sports, movie personalities than for our republic.

This country has actual weapons of mass destruction. They are also aiming at us. We should have focused here instead of the debt creating unfunded Iraq war.
