    @ worf

A tenth place PAC-12 team also beat Washington worse than Oregon. That tenth place PAC-12 school also beat Oregon. Oregon also beat the tenth place PAC-12 school. Is that evidence that the PAC-12 is inferior to the PAC-12?

Nope, but we can't fault you for trying!

Mount Olympus, to be fair and correct you, yes the WCC has had a team in the Final Four, the Dons won back to back titles from Bill Russell.

But that was more than 55 years ago. This year they were quite overrated, as was apparent by halftime of Thursday's game. And it's now obvious that the PAC-12 was pretty underrated. Typically, a 12 seed making the Final Four would be a huge story and big surprise, but I don't think anyone would be as surprised with Oregon doing it this year because they are a quality program that was dealt terribly by the selection committee.

A third place WCC team beat Washington much worse then Oregon did.

Hmm?--this is evidence the PAC 12 is inferior. Can't spin the facts.

    Mount Olympus:

"Gonzaga loses to Wichita State...Oregon and Arizona go to the Sweet 16."

Correct you are Mt. Olympus! I thought I'd check out a few of these articles to get little brother's take on this. I seem to recall a DNews article 5 days ago ('Utah basketball: Utes had strong showing at Pac-12 tourney') where one of them -- midWACmajor -- commented:

"Quality > Quantity...The best WCC team is ranked #1/#1 and is a #1 seed...The best PAC team is ranked #21/#20 and is a #6 seed."

And as you pointed out, that #6 seed will be joining our Pac-12 Tournament Champion in the Sweet 16, while Gonzaga will be joining the rest of the WCC watching Arizona and Oregon taking on Ohio St. and Louisville (2 relevant teams from relevant conferences) this Thursday and Friday.

But I guess we'll have to wait a little longer before midWACmajor can spin this.

    Pac-12 > WCC

Nobody on this board said the wcc had a richer tournament history than the PAC. As a matter of fact, you're the first one posting. The fact that you feel the need to substantiate your conference superiority makes your comment insecure at best.

Shame the haters on the hill don't have a team to follow in the postseason. Too much free time for the trolls to obsess about all things byu. The inferiority complex is suffocating.

Exciting game and a great College basketball atmosphere at the ESA.

Gonzaga is the definition of over rated. Barely beats number 16 and loses to number 9.

    Nice.

    Gonzaga loses to Wichita State.

Oregon and Arizona go to the Sweet 16.

When was the last time the best team in the WCC advanced farther than the best team in Pac-12? Has this ever happened?

Pac-12: 11 of the 12 current schools have played in a final 4
WCC: 0 teams currently in this conference have ever made the final 4

Which conference is better? It isn't even close.
