I still see John Kerry as a Vietnam veteran protesting against the government of the United States of America and cannot picture him having a real influence in the world of people that are rebels. He was one that was a friend of the Kennedy family and used that influence to protect him in Vietnam. He is a Heinz 57 blend that takes advantage of whatever it takes to get him further in his political world. He didn't win the Presidency but is now out espousing his learning since making presentations to Congress in the early 1970s with all the publicity that the media could stir for him.

He apparently didn't have the Benghazi affair involvement but he hasn't shared what his Department of State's involvement was with the meeting of the State Department's Ambassador to Libya was in the weakest security location on the 11th of September 2013. If we aren't supplying arms then it must have been a meeting about providing meals and medical care that the Ambassador was talking about with the Turkish people in Libya.
