I sincerely commend the Deseret News for printing this article. Social justice is a Christian cause, the defense of the weakest in our Justice System is an imperative in a society that strive of fairness.
Not all poor are innocent and not all rich are guilty. If the richest country in the world can afford to pay millions of dollars for a drone or an airplane to kill people. It certainly can afford to make sure its citizens regardless their status in society receive a fair chance in its
courts of law.
As a tax payer I rather see my tax dollar being spent in justice than in killing.
The United States remain an unfulfill dream. But line by line and step by step we are getting there.
