    I don't think you can back up your talk about the MWC being mediocre. Did you check the latest RPI polls? Most people have the MWC being 1 or 2 in the conference RPI rankings. The lowest I've seen the MWC is 4.

    Also have you seen what Las Vegas has been lately. It's a college basketball mecca. The Pac-12, WCC, and WAC also have their conference tournaments in Las Vegas. I wouldn't be surprised if the Big Sky or Big West eventually come here. There's obviously something about Las Vegas that brings them here. Last I heard the Pac-12 has been doing very well as far as selling tickets.

    Those years the MWC held the conference tournament in Denver it didn't do nearly as well. The last few years in Las Vegas it's either been sold out or close to selling out. Check your facts.

    Out of all the major college basketball tournaments held across the country, how many are held on one of the conference member's home floor?

    This mistake, in itself, helps brand the MWC as mediocre.
