Civilian workforces mentioned by this article does not include contracted mercenary (body guards) working for contracted military forces now fighting our wars at home (drones) and abroad.
The real non combatant civilians this article implies has been on a pay freeze for 17 years and Obama decided to take credit for it 2 years ago as his idea. The federal civilian workers have been in attrition for the same number of years (17+) so who the sequester will affect is still a mystery. National guard people have been fired and deprived of all benefits promised to them, like health care, VA disabilities, civilian jobs.
My hope for government cuts will be in the private army sectors of the CIA, NSA, ATF, Secret Service, sell extra Air Force One plane and helicopters. Then cancel presidential party accounts for the Royal Family costing $1.6 Trillion dollars a year.
If the Democrats and president was serious about improving government, eliminate the expense account of Obama and friends could net us a surplus to pay some funds on our debt and interest.
Will there be budget cuts for Pakistan, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Omen, etc?
