Great idea, but it won't happen in Utah, where fossil fuel barons have a
stranglehold on the governor and the legislature.
Everyone says, "try to develop clean, nonpolluting, sustainable energy
sources." Well, where are they? Serious efforts have been going on for 40
years, and look where we are.To have any hope of reducing our use of
oil, an energy source MUST be able to power semi-trucks, trains, and commercial
vehicles. In 40 years of trying, the world has only come up so far with natural
gas. When you think about clean energy, think about big trucks.
They're not ever going to run on solar panels, batteries, or wind turbines.
To "Bob Van Velkinburgh" we are trying to develop clean renewable energy
sources, but the liberals and environmentalists keep blocking the Nuclear Power
plant from being built in Utah.
