Wasn't Mr. Liljenquist involved in some pretty questionable situations while trying to replace Orrin Hatch?
By making statements like this one, is he trying to keep his name out in front of voters for another go 'round?
One thing I know for sure, he will NEVER receive a vote from me.
I agree that Swallow's actions need to be thoroughly investigated, and that while the investigation takes place, he should be on administrative leave.
But Mr. Liljenquist seems to be doing nothing here but some more cheap political maneuvering.
Re: "I am grateful for the good men and women who serve us in the state Legislature."
Me too. All three of them.
The rest are a disgrace, of course.
"Wasn't Mr. Liljenquist involved in some pretty questionable situations while trying to replace Orrin Hatch?"
No.
So perhaps you should watch your own "cheap political maneuvering".
Yep, it's really a shame that there are only three Democrats in the legislature, isn't it?
And for goodness sakes, where was Eliot when those ads from Liljenquist were flooding into our living rooms and clogging our mailboxes?
Bravo, Dan! Bravo!! Well reasoned, well written. Excellent column.
Very interesting to note that legislators have been quiet on this subject at the behest of legal counsel.
