We've been in Afghanistan for over 10 years now, and there is really nothing to be accomplished by staying any longer. Remember how people would say that things like Guantanamo and Abu Graib were recruting tools for the terriorists. Well just what do you think the presence of U.S. troops for over a decade in Afghanistan is doing? Time to leave, and I thought Obama would have agreed. What changed?
Didn't the old Soviet Union spend roughly a decade there?
