Utah's Legislative website doesn't list a "Fiscal Sustainability Legislative Task Force".

I'd like to know more about it, because some of the proposed bills emerging from this "Financial Ready Utah" group are not exactly taxpayer friendly, but are being overwhelmingly supported by so-called fiscally responsible legislators.

The thinking seems to be that one way to become financially ready for federal cutbacks is to make sure cities can take more than they currently do from the average taxpayer to keep in reserve accounts. Never mind that finagling with reserve accounts is common in many cities.

Thanks, but I'd rather keep my own money in my own reserve accounts for my own emergencies.
