Last year, a Skywest pilot (on the run for murdering his girlfriend in another state) jumped the fence at the St. George Airport using rugs or similar to get past the razor wire. He commandeered an empty passenger jet, clipped a wing on the terminal (apparently attempting to take off), and shot himself, dying in the aircraft.
Some snarky comments were made by folks from Northern Utah about the lack security at the SG Airport. The situation in Brussels shows that security issues exist in any airport anywhere. You can't effectively police every linear foot of every airport 24/7.
This is going to make a great movie!
