Here's a suggestion: Make wrestling part of the Winter Olympics. Traditionally, wrestling is a winter sport. Moving it (and maybe some other indoor sports) to the Winter Games will reduce the size of the Summer Games, and will provide greater coverage and focus on wrestling (and possibly other sports).
Time to replace Rogge and the rest of the IOC!!!!
Poorly written article! How are we supposed to make an informed comment when the writers do not include all of the information. What kind of changes to wrestling are they talking about? Maybe they want men to wrestle women or skimpy suits like the swim suits they now allow (oh I forgot about track and field just as bad). Maybe they want to jazz it up some, make it more exciting to watch (for most people unless you understand the sport and what is happening on the mats it's probably a bit boring). So finish the article with the appropriate facts maybe then we can be a little more informed!!!!!
By the way leave wrestling alone (especially since it was one of the original venues in the olympics), drop some of the newer ones there are several to pick from.
Here's how the meeting is going to go:
Jacques Rogge: How much money do you have?
Wrestling guy: I told you, I've already given you everything we've got.
Jacques Rogge: Well, wrestling was nice while it lasted.
That's just how things work at the IOC.
