"President Barack Obama will press a politically-divided Congress to approve more tax increases and fewer spending cuts"

Fewer spending cuts!?? How can you have fewer than zero?

I'm glad the president is pivoting his focus to jobs and the economy, I'm sure this time it will be different than the 7-8 previous times he's focused on jobs and the economy.

I love the hypocrisy of the liberals/progressives and the MSM. When Romney during the campaign said that he would cut loopholes he was attacked. Later, when the Republicans in congress said the same, they were attacked.

Now, we read "Obama has called for raising more revenue through closing tax breaks and loopholes, but he has not detailed a list of targets" and the MSM doesn't care, and will probably tell us how great Obama is for closing unspecified loopholes.

* Non of Obama's proposals will add a single dime to the debt
* taxing the top one percent has decreased the deficit by 2.5 trillion over the passed few years.
* our sisters, and moms are battle tested,--qualify for combat duty.
* our roads and bridges are bad.
* let's get minimum wage to nine dollars an hour
* American children need to start government financed schools at four years old.
* we are doing more oil drilling, and giving out out more permits in our country.

All this from the State of Union speech. Should have spoke of the over eleven thousand new regulations since he took office costing the economy 488 billion per week.
