Riverton's Steve Galley may have exposed these Knights with his slow down tactics last Friday night. I sat amongst the Lone Peak faithful and there were a couple of times, late in the third quarter, that the natives became a tad bit restless. Had Riverton taken care of the ball just a little bit better and cut down on some unforced turn overs, they might have cornered these Knights and pushed their panic button.
State tournament could be interesting.
OK, maybe not.
Honestly these teams are pulling the only tactic they have. Stall ball. And they won't win a game by doing it, just making the score as low as possible. Utah needs a shotclock in the worst way.
I didn't realize Utah doesn't have a shot clock; that's out dated. The shot clock is in play here in Washington, starting in 7th grade AAU.
