City has experienced most deadly january in more than a decade
Barry is barking up the wrong tree. Alcohol is more damaging then guns, french
fries, or all wars put together.Where's the example?
I think the fact that Chicago is run completely by a dem party machine also
contributes to the violence there. Dems LOVE to create a situation of total
dependence to ensure they stay ensconced in power. economic dependence is one
thing, but when they can make you feel your very life is dependent on them, then
they really have you. BO just wants to recreate Chicago's corruption in
the WH and on Capitol Hill.
@ PaganNonsense. The gun violence in Chicago is almost exclusively caused
by unlicensed owners using street-traded weapons without serial numbers. The same goes for the overwhelming majority of street crime. If Chief Burbank
weren't on his liberal crusade he would confirm that for Salt Lake as
well.Domestic gun violence and accidental deaths are a different matter.
Some are registered; some are not. Most are not properly stored, but you
don't want the NRA teaching weapon safety.Although there are plenty
of domestic deaths from guns it is clear that hammers, gasoline, kitchen knives
and even automobiles can be lethal weapons. Even a pillow or a plastic bag will
do. Let us ban them all and have Nanny regulate them.
Criminals no longer steal guns. They purchase them legally, due to
lax gun laws.My example would be the shooter in Colorado. Every gun
he used to kill Americans in that theatre was purchased legally.Including the 6,000 rounds of ammunition.
This is a no brainer. Strict, draconian gun control equals criminal freedom.
They don't care about "control". Control to them means "easy
target". This is not hard to figure out. Why is it even a debate. Thanks
Chicago and DC for showing the world liberal (does anyone find it ironic that
liberals are more about taking things away, control, force etc. not to liberal)
policies on guns (restriction) does not, will never work. Guns are
not the source of the problem. People are the problem. When will we admit that?
When will we help people and stop the "let the eat cake" atttitudes.
Get a dose of reality!
