Please tell me why it is not possible to prevent a person like this from having access to guns. I suspect that he owned his guns legally. Even if he were mentally sound at an earlier time, he is not sound now. We need to have a much more effective way of limiting access to guns, including having gun owners re-certified from time to time so that the people know that those who own guns are mentally stable.
