There is always some excuse as to why there is a problem. I'll vote for whoever takes responsibility for their actions and works to fix mistakes, and takes accountability for problems they either created themselves or were elected to mitigate.

The article doesn't say anything about health insurance cost increases. It says is that even with all the changes that obamacare brings to make it more affordable to poor people, there will still be families that will have a hard time affording insurance. It's not a case of health insurance suddenly getting more expensive for these people. Just a misleading title on the article.

@DC, While what you say sounds nice. There comes a point when knowingly misleading(lying)becomes unacceptable. If Barack said he would cut the deficit in half during this first 4 years and he instead increased it, there are only 2 explanations:

1) He knowingly misled the public, knowing that it would be impossible to cut the deficit in half.

or

2) His understanding of the country's finances was no better than a 4 year old's understanding.

I cannot say that I believe I am selling you a $1 million race car and instead deliver a rusty $20 bike and claim I tried.

Either I lied or I didnt know what a $1 million race car was.

Either one, unacceptable for someone supposed to be leading our country.

The administration now blames congress. Why was the bill signed with that defect. Could it be that the President failed to read it before he signed it. Go figure!

Oh yea! He inherited the problem. It was Bush's fault.

Just like the rest of congress, remember this Nancy Pelosi said, "But we have to pass the [health care ] bill so that you can find out what is in it."

Obama said his healthcare idea wasn't a tax. It is.

Obama said healthcare costs wouldn't go up as a result of his plan. They did. (how can they NOT when we put all the adult kids on our insurance?)

He said illegal immigrants wouldn't be covered under his plan. They are.

Obama said quality of healthcare wouldn't suffer. That part is already starting, although Dr.'s are trying to make the things work, or you'd ALREADY be seeing longer waits to see the DR.

Too bad someone didn't read the bill before they passed it.

Wow, some great comments by Chris B. Although I never agree with what he has to say in the sports section, I must concur with him here. I do not hate President Obama, but his handling on stuff like this seems to be really shaky. Does he even know what is going on?

Oh, my my my.....what a tangled mess Nancy and Harry produced and Obama signed-on-the-dotted line, all to great fan-fare. Now that the election is over, we see who really "doesn't care about the 49%" is really more who doesn't care about the 80%.

How any serious minded person could have voted for Obama, based upon his first-term track record, is beyond me. The masses have been duped and now the chickens are starting to come home to roost.

Just yesterday, I was talking to a lady employed at one of the 'big box stores'. she told me that her insurance went up so much, that she had to drop it because she could no longer afford it. Now that it has been passed, I hope Nancy Pelosi, and Pres. Obama have had a chance to read it and find out what is really in it.

I have a news flash. In a few years, most all of us will be priced out of Obamacare. Then the federal government can come running in to save the day by providing true socialized healthcare for all.

Funny how the Obama administration is saying its hands were tied by congress. The Obama administration were the ones who were pushing the bill through congress and now they say there hands were tied? This is just the first step to socializing healthcare and in a few years we will all be priced out of our health plans and will all be on the same government plan. Wake up! The emperor has no clothes!!!

People - the GOAL of Obamacare phase 1 is to make private insurance so expensive that no one can afford it and companies start dropping it. At that point Barack comes swooping in with his single payer Government program and at that point folks your final freedoms will be no more. The Federal Govt will OWN you. This has been the goal all along. Obama knows EXACTLY what he is doing make no mistake. Many years ago Reagan warned of how socialism would take a foothold in America and the gateway would be socialized single payer health care. The man was a prophet!! In comes a single payer system and out goes the last of your bill of rights. Think of the POWER the Feds will then hold over you!!! You want that kidney replacement you had darn well better be a Democrat! You speak out in any way against Big Brother government and you can say goodbye to your health care coverage. Impossible?? Check out the ole USSR!!! Everything about your health - your children's health is now in the hands of Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi.

Since when has Obama told the truth about anything when he's so busy trying to become a dictator! This healthcare is going to fail in a way nobody saw coming.
