It's disgusting the efforts over the years to avoid enforcing the law.
It has become very difficult to get deported.
And the defenders of illegals are many; politicians, preachers, union leaders, activists, The Chamber...
Gee, I wonder if there's a connection between our lack of enforcement and the fact that ONE THIRD of all foreign-born are here illegally?
Why in the world do people think rolling over and legalizing them is going to fix the problem?
It's sad and perhaps even frightening to believe that our Congress members must fear their pursuit of public interest legislation because of the power of special interest groups and conduct their work in secret. Unless the public becomes more involved and become more interested in what our law making bodies do, minority interests will continue to dominate our Country.
