Megachurch. You can type the name of any one of these things into a search engine, followed by the word 'scam', and get so many hits.
Megachurch, to me, is like saying 'religion'. It is a generic term.
Faiths that endure, like the LDS church, Catholicism, Islam and Judaism are known by name.
The fact that it shows up in Vegas, the city of 'sin', only shows the short-term benefits of religion with no substance.
That said, the more religions of any denomination show it's extremism by using it's ideology to force Americans to act accordingly...
is one of the main reasons religion, as a whole, is declining.
People are simply searching for better examples.
Megachurches are just like a big concert. I don't know how anybody would follow such an organization and think that it helps them come close to god. Kind of rediculous.
Pagan,
interesting that you routinely attack religion, but you have a religious pseudonymn. Paganism IS a religion.
Pagan is my family name, and it's origin traces back to another language.
Please do not pretend you know anything about me Lost.
It only shows you don't know what you are talking about.
Do you expect anything but big from Texas or over the top in LV?
Maybe they ought to do a semi-annual meeting in their survey, such as General Conference, and see where SLC, with the Conference Center and satellite global transmission, fits into the scheme.........
