Tom... you do realize that if every nice person in the world that had a good work ethic and you were able to find something likable about, were to just come here unregulated by law, we would have more people living here than in China... in the billions. Yes, we are still the envy of most of the world, which is why so many people still try to sneak in here illegally. But without laws and immigration controls (even for nice, likable people), we would now be living in horrible, overcrowded conditions... a situation that even people like you would finally understand needs to be regulated and controlled.
There's a reason that every industrialized country in the world has and maintains their immigration laws. America needs to start maintaining hers better, regardless of how nice and likable the law-breakers are.
Weird, their agreement is even more liberal than I am on the issue. Been a long time since I've thought that about a bipartisan agreement.
Try teaching a child honesty, and then try teaching him about illegal immigration.
The open border movement is destroying this country at the core.
And Congress becomes more useless than ever. Vote them all out and start over. We couldn't be any worse off than we are now.
Amnesty by any other name.......
All this Congress can do is kick the can down the road. FIRE THEM ALL.
