The only bench warmer who gets as much or more attention, is the Jimmer.
Granted Alex was once a starter.
One of the best role models in sports right now. Classy, humble, team player. He deserves a shot to play this Sunday and i will be eagerly watching, waiting for him to get his chance.
"I think a lot's being made of that. For one, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a little bittersweet,"
A little? It would be a lot if it were me. Alex carried this team to the 20.
OCoug "The only bench warmer who gets as much or more attention, is the Jimmer."
Do you realize this is a national AP report? Jimmer is only local news.
Wishing Alex Smith, Paul Kruger, Ma'ake Kemoeatu, David Reed, Haloti Ngata and Dennis Pitta the best of luck on Sunday. I might be missing another local or two ... isn't there a USU alum on the 49ers?
Anyway, I hope they all get some reps and a chance to shine and enjoy football's biggest stage.
If Alex doesn't play, it's the first time (as the last half of this season) I am rooting against the 49ers since Steve Young and Jerry Rice. Go Kruger!
Razzle you missed my point.
Both are getting overhyped.
I believe Janie Mccauley over Max and his mommy any day!
