Terrific editorial. Could not agree more.
Attention to this issue is long overdue!
The tendency in the U.S. is to have the idea that our country is significantly more advanced than most other countries. But when one travels outside the U.S., one learns that in some areas we lag behind. This is one of those areas. Green energy is another area. It is important if our country wants to have a strong economy, and remain a world economic leader, that we press forward in developing and implementing newer technologies and educating our citizens.
I was in Fiji recently and the Internet spees was about times faster than at home.
