Here we go again. I wish someone would develop a spine in Washington. Both parties need to get a budget together NOW.
Legislation passed by the Republican controlled House...?
3%.
Who is blocking a budget?
The only "crisis" here is strictly GOP manufactured. There was no crisis the OTHER 90 or so times the debt ceiling was raised.
Four budgets passed by the House, which for two years was controlled by the Democrats. Yet not even one budget brought to the floor for consideration by the Senate, which is controlled by the Democrats.
Who is blocking the Budget?
How many budgets have the Senate passed?
No one cares.
They just like to blame the Senate for the Republican controlled House passing the least amount of legislation than any in American history.
Again, that's 3%.
When you have facts to present besides rhetoric, let us know.
To "Pagan" the House has pasesed budgets that the Senate won't even look at.
Who care's how many bills are passed. As far as I am concerned if they only passed a budget that would be great.
The crisis has not been averted, just delayed. If it was averted, we wouldn't be looking at it again in May.
Right on Redshirt!
Pagan just wants bills passed by the House as a measure of HIS definition of competence.
Yeah, good job Republican party.
The Average House member makes $175,000 per year.
And we pay them that, to pass 3% of legislation.
If I had a 10% approval rate at my job? I would loose it.
So?
@Pagan, you obviosuly have me confused with someone who cares about how much they make and what their job approval rating is. Go put a couple quarters in a pay phone and call up someone who cares.
I would just like to see a budget passed by both Chambers of Congress. So far, the Senate has refused to do so.
To "Pagan" don't think of it as passing 3% of legislation. Think of it as stopping 97% of bad legislation.
