Wow. Future generation are really going to think we were stupid shooting lead all over the place.
A note on gun safety is that shooting ranges actually have high levels of lead dust and lead vapor from bullets fragmenting at high velocity. Just be careful when taking your kids so they don't ingest lead dust.
Screwdriver -- perhaps ingestion of lead dust has something to do with the rantings of the NRA and their followers.
I've wondered that myself OOM, :) Some symptoms of lead poisoning are:
High blood pressure
Declines in mental functioning
Pain, numbness or tingling of the extremities
Muscular weakness
Headache
Abdominal pain
Memory loss
Mood disorders
