How can this be surprising to anyone? Our society is obsessed with sex, and many eschew the values fidelity and decent behavior.
The irony is that most of the hypocritical sexual behavior comes from the politically conservatives who tend to be authoritarian and claim to be religious. Note the big issues at the AF Academy, for instance, Larry Craig, Pastor Ted, atc. Sure "libera's" do it too, but not with such determination to hide their true selves. What is it about people in positions of authority that makes them so abusive?
