Fear and cowardice is always a very profitable marketing concept to sell socialist governments things to hide behind. Some will buy this as a necessary cost for schools to protect themselves from invasion and attack from outside their world.
What they really need is bullet proof doors and glass in all the class room doors and walls from distrubed children who are attacking each-other and the education system inside the schools. Fear is what this company is promoting and selling. If fear is so prevalent in our schools this is a red flag for Americans.
The only thing we need to do to protect our children in schools is take government out of the class rooms and education. Our schools are the war zone with government training killers and future terrorist within its walls.
Our schools are terrorizing the public and homes and families and we are ignorant enough to beleive schools are safe havens for children. Low infromation parents are being taught and treated for who and what they are, ignorant of the criminal education of children that has been prospering for the last 50 years in our schools.
I suppose one can believe that every little bit helps. But I wonder about the shield's effectiveness against an AR15 from point blank range? I wonder how easily a shooter with a Sig Sauer P556 with a 30-round magazine could shoot the legs of the shield bearer, then finish the job when he/she is writhing on the floor?
In short, I think the product is designed to reap profits for the manufacturer while falling horrobly short in providing the protection provided.
Even guns in the teacher's hands is an offered falsehood: a shooter with intent to kill always has the edge on his victim, who has no intent at all at the time. It might make many feel safer to have teachers armed, but those arms may never come into play, if the teachers are shot first.
Fear and cowardice is always a very profitable marketing concept to sell extreme conservatives things to hide behind. Some will buy this as a necessary cost for schools to protect themselves from invasion and attack from outside their world.
But I have to ask, have any of you ever actually been hit by a bullet. Even with a good ballistic vest the impact is so great that you won't be able to remain standing.
This is one of the dumbest ideas I've heard since the last time I read some of the comments made by ultra-conservatives and the NRA.
I believe 2Cents mad rant is one of the strangest posts I've ever seen. Just how does one "rake government out" of a government owned and operated school? "Training terrorists"? For "fifty years"? I can't speak for everyone, but am NOT 'terrorized" by local schools.
