-Again, the BCS is dead.
-Utah rides others Coat-tails for relevancy.
-Utah is settling in nicely as the Pac Bottomfeeder...All Sports and Academically.

And, Utah is not even a mid-major within their own conference.

Please let us know when Utah wins a Conference Championship, in any sport.

We don't need a guy that can't make a commitment. Let him stay with the Utes and win zero games in Pac12 next year.

Re: Bluto

Let me know when BYU wins their next conference championship in football.

Through it all, a single fact remains. A guy is given a choice, and after a small struggle, he still makes the right choice--a better choice.

Love it.

"Let me know when BYU wins their next conference championship in football."

It's a good bet that BYU will win more than one conference championship in football before Utah wins their next.

It could be decades before a conference bottom dweller, that's only won about one conference championship a decade during their WAC/MWC era, wins their first PAC 10.2 championship.

A person is no better than their word. At the U, keep your word is optional. Consider the following:

Urbay Meyer - Happy at Utah and was staying around. Then left for Florida.
Kyle Whittingham - Committed to BYU and changed his mind.
Aaron Roderick - Changed his mind at Washington and BYU.
Gary Andersen - Very happy at Utah State and then suddenly Wisconsin offered more.

Enough said!

If their lips are moving, they are lying!

"Classic love/hate relationship.
Whitingham and the Utes continue to dis-respect him and he continues to ask for more.

What about Bronco? There is a classic love/hate relationship between him and Anae. Bronco pretty much told Anae to resign and look for another job after the Utah LOSS in 2010. Also the BYU fans wanted his head after that loss due to "bad play calling". Now rehiring Anae, he's just asking for more. That's sad!

You Utah fans crack me up. First you are happy to see him go and now you are happy to have him back. I guess when you have had a roller coaster few years as a Utah fan you take what scraps you can get. LOL

Correction...this USED TO BE a heated rivalry. Now it's just another game. Who cares. I want decisiveness. This isn't it. I wish Utah well, after all, the coaching staff was trained in Provo. But obviously, the programs are heading in their own quests for success. Good for them. This is no big deal.

What is not mentioned is the pay bump the U likely gave him. All for the players! Not likely.

"Pac12,Rose bowl,BCS,Pac12 money!"

U can forget Rose Bowls and BCS access games. It could be years before the Utes even beat a PAC 10.2 team with a winning record. Anybody can provide a warm body to give a conference the necessary 12 teams to hold a championship.

Friends it is then :)

Don't lose sight of the fact that Utah is a mid-major program masquerading as a big boy.

Being a whipping boy for the real big boys of the conference, doesn't make U special, it simply makes you a leech, feeding off of the accomplishments of other programs because you have no accomplishments of your own.

There was a time when the Utes took pride in their own banners and flags. Now all we hear and see are PAC 12 banners and flags.

Utah is a more prestigious institution. However, another 5-7 season, coach Witt won't be at the U any longer. Neither will Roderick. And now that he has turned town 3 other FBS programs, including his alma mater, the best that A-Rod may get is joining John L. Smith at Ft. Whatchumccallit State in Oregon.

Loyalty does not pay the bills.

BYU is better off without him.

It's really pretty simple! Mediocrity in the PAC 12 or excellence at BYU as an Indy. Some people as Jack said, "can't handle the pressure." After only one day of being in an environment of excellence, he retreated to the U1

BYU lost to Utah again.
6-10 all time against San Jose St. Lost to them on national TV this past season.
The USU bowl game got a higher TV rating than the Poinsettia Bowl.
BYU was 7-5 this past season.

Environment of excellence indeed. LOL!!!
