Using children as wallpaper. Disgusting, Mr. President.
I suppose he'll hand out white coats to the doctors present as well.
It's all about the visual to this politician.
I'm glad this is moving forward, and the president did what he had to do to get it done. There's no way he could have done it without raising the objections of somebody (his mere existence does that here) so if that's the way it needs to be, so be it.
He says he will "crack down" on gun traffic rings. Hmmm, does that mean like the Fast & Furious type of gun running activities??
Things I'd like Obama to do:
* investigate why men, women, and children along our border were killed by Mexican cartels using ATF guns.
* surround himself with babies, and unveil abortion restrictions.
* make background checks on politicians more availiable to the public.
Re: "President Obama to unveil gun violence measures . . . ."
Except, not a single one of his measures will actually affect gun violence. Each has been tried time and time again, and has had no effect on the statistics.
What was it Einstein said about repeating errors, but hoping for a different result?
Seems to apply here.
worf,
Add to that list explanations why over 800 businesses and donors, all members of congress and the president are exempt from his health care law.
worf said: "* investigate why men, women, and children along our border were killed by Mexican cartels using ATF guns."
"But guns don't kill people people kill people." Please at least be consistant in your rhetoric.
"* make background checks on politicians more availiable to the public."
Still on the birther train which helps with you credibility too.
Ignoring the problem as the neocons and republicans do has helped how?
Happy valley,
the mexican cartels ARE made up of people - who kill. Worf IS being consistent.
Just like in your 49.2% and 43.7% constitute majorities, you are again showing you have no credibility. SO I can give you credit for consistency - consistent lack of credibility.
There isn't a single thing he has proposed that should cause any reasonable person to object. Everyone still has the right to own hunting rifles. Everyone still has the right to own handguns for self-defense. These recommendations are 100% common sense measures.
Happy Valley Heretic,
Birthers? Back ground checks involve much more then that.Open your mind.
It's our political leaders who feel guns kill people. So, why send guns to cartels?
