Parting ways with Cahoon? Hugh mistake.

Good comments by Skywalker and So Cal Reader. Nothing wrong with Anae finding his own staff to work with. It is sad to lose Cahoon because on the surface it appears he did an outstanding job with the WR group, but I'm not sure how good of a recruiter he is.

Anae did a credible job the first go around as OC with an offensive coaching staff hired by someone else. Maybe we'll see an even better offense under Anae when he's surrounded himself with position coaches of his choosing.

Last year I saw stats on the drop rates for BYU receivers before and after Cahoon was brought on board. BYU receivers caught the ball at a significantly higher rate after he began coaching. What a loss for the program. I've spoken with people who know both Cahoon and Dupaix personally and say they are salt of the earth, good people. Whatever's going on there I don't like it. I just got a lot less interested in BYU football.
