Does America not have any orphans? Why are some people protesting this? Of Russia doesn't want us to adopt their children then fine! Take care of your own! Use your own tax dollars to feed them. For those protesting, stop complaining and adopt an American orphan.

The rally was in Moscow... it make help to actually read the article. Also, if you had any experience in Eastern Europe or Russia, you would understand why this is a humanitarian tragedy. Using suffering kids as a political tactic is reprehensible; as is your huffy response.
Too bad that so many innocent children are being used as political pawns. In the end the ban hurts kids in need more than anyone else. Never really cared for Putin anyway.
Let's not forget that the whole thing started when a couple who adopted a Russian child decided to return it because it was "broken" and required more effort than they were willing to give - and that is much more harmful than never having been adopted would have been.
