No reason to panic. It was the first meet of the season, and when the Lady Utes could have fallen apart, they regrouped. UCLA is a deeper team, they were at home, and they had a first meet under their belts. I'm encouraged that Georgia and Corrie finished 2-3 in the all-around. It's a very young team for the Red Rocks, this year. Poise is a product of experience and maturity, and, on bars, poise was not present.
The Utes have a great women's gymnastics program, but it's been almost 20 years since they won an NCAA championship. The Red Rocks have come close on several occasions since 1995, but UCLA, Alabama and Georgia always seem to be just slightly better every year.
