The author is wrong. Right to work means a person can work without being forced to pay union thugs part of their salary which is the very definition of extortion. States that have right to work laws almost always have lower unemployment than union states because businesses can actually operate there, can hire people and compete in the world market place! This all about unions extorting money from people and then donating money to Democrats! That's the only reason Democrats don't like right to work laws while they pretend to care about workers! Illinois and Wisconsin passed right laws and more people are working and paying taxes in those states today than before!
