Obamacare is an abortion if the goal is affordable health care. It completely fails to address the problem which is, mal practice by doctors, insurance companies and lawyers. In this country when a doctor committes mal practice the only thing that happens to him is that his insurance rates go up and he can continue cutting off the wrong leg or killing the patients as long as he can afford the insurance. If he were to loose his medical license and go to jail for his mal practice other doctors would receive an objective lesson and we would virtually see mal practice dissappear as it has in Mexico. If we cancelled the requirement for doctors to obtain mal practice insurance, there would be no mal practice insurance companies and lawyers will not sue emprisioned bankrupt doctors. Medical care could then be affordable for most americans and a federal insurance program with social security (new program not the current program) to take care of people who had been injured. The last number I heard for annual full coverager for a Mexican family with IMSS insurance was $309 per year.
