So, Mr. Obama, it seems you have two choices here:
1) Demand that Sidwell, the private school your daughters attend, remove the ELEVEN armed guards at the school.
-or-
2) Withdraw the girls and put them in the DC public school in their attendance area.
Otherwise, you are a hypocrite, Mr. President.
TTNS: There is zero hypocracy in play here. The guards are for his girls, not because of the school, but because they are the president's daughters. If you cannot understand the reasoning behind why they would need this protection, that's sad! Mitt and his wife Ann enjoyed this same protection while campaigning for the presidency.
All I can glean from this story is that the president wants to ban assault-type weapons and high capacity clips. I grew up with guns, starting from a bb gun at age 5, then a pellet gun, then a .22., then a shotgun, and then a deer rifle. Never once did myself or my family ever feel the need to have an assualt rifle. I'm not in favor of getting rid of hand guns, but I would favor banning the high-capacity clips.
By the way, as I date myself here, the argument that this is the first step in taking away all guns has been going on since my childhood and that first bb gun almost 50 years ago!
