The golf ball must have sailed into the cliff.

People have blamed the Bush tax cuts for our economic mess. They say it provided tax breaks for the rich.

Now the tax cuts come to an end, and we find taxes will rise for the middle class.

Some one has lied to the American people. Hmm?

What else have we been told that's not true?

Oh, no! I've procrastinated this homework assignment for 13 months! It's due in two days. Life is so unfair. I have a mean teacher.
I've got to come up with a good excuse. Boehner ate my homework. Yeah, that's it.
As you can tell, I'm pretty much disgusted with Washington. They left this issue alone so they could run for office. No sympathy for them.

One of the things I admired about President Bush was he was aware that his trips and vacations took secret service personnel and staff members away from their families, and were expensive to taxpayers, so he elected to confine his vacations to his ranch and Camp David where his staff and expenses would be least affected. Good leadership!

The rich can pay more in taxes. So why can't Obama pay for his own vacation as a gesture of good will? What's wrong with Camp David, or hanging around the White House?
