We live and die by the 3 pointer. that is Coach Rose basketball. so when the cougs go cold shooting from the arc they almost always lose to the bubble busting teams. when they shoot the 3 well they win. I believe Carlino is the answer along with Winder. The coach must realize that Davies cannot carry the team. It's too easy to double team and get him into foul trouble early. Cut Carlino loose. Let him do the Jimmer and build around Carlino. He's young still but will quickly mature. He's lacking confidence right now because he knows he can do more. Jimmer was hushed up as a sophomore as well while Rose rode Tavernari who was not consistent. Tyler Haws has a nose for the ball and is able to quietly put up 20-30 a night without him being the focus. The point guard needs to be the focal point at BYU in this system. It creates the "outside to inside and then back outside" game Rose likes.
