I hope whoever you hires doesn't say one thing and do another.
Interesting that you have a picture of a Utah assistant coach on the article. Subtle hint, DesNews?
If I was making the decision I would steal Brian Johnson from Utah! What a catch (this alumnus from Utah would start to donate to the USU fund)...
Oh, the hits just keep coming for Utah. Now the second part of the reason Utah was good is leaving. He is also your best recruiter and link to the poly world. Don't worry you still have BJ.
It sure would be nice if he took Domain with him. I can dream!
How about Brandon Doman? He's got experience as a QB Coach, OC, professional player, mentored by Bronco, and I understand he may be looking for a new home. Perfect fit. This may be just the opportunity for Doman to rise and shine.
Great career move for Andersen. Loyal to himself is more important than loyalty to an employer. And for Aggie fans, no, there is no Santa Claus.

Everyone, including you, does what is in their best interest. And believe me, an employer certainly does what is in THEIR best interest.
Sitake would be a wise choise.
But going from a defense coordinator of a Pac 12 team to the head coach of a WAC/MWC team is really a lateral move.
He's already making $500k in his current position. He has better athletes now than he would in Logan. Sorry aggies, reality is you had a nice season, but you're not exactly conference of champion material.
I hope Sitake stays in Salt Lake. Guy is a tremendous coach.
Looks like they hired Wells.
@Black Shirts you are wrong, Kalani isn't the best recruiter for the Utes, Morgan Scalley is.
More pearls of wisdom from the lips of Utah's poster child of fans: "He has better athletes now than he would in Logan. Sorry aggies, reality is you had a nice season, but you're not exactly conference of champion material."
No, reality is the Aggies beat Sitake's kids who apparently are not conference of champion material either.
When facts change, or rather situations change resulting in new facts, then we all have the right to change our minds and positions on any topic, including where we choose to work and live. Anderson is doing the right and moral thing.

Well if they aren't then we apparently aren't either considering they beat us, and considering we haven't even been able to post a winning record in the "conference of champions".
You really need to stop being such an embarrassment to the rest of us.
Really Chris? Simply being in the PAC 12 doesn't exactly equal success. And considering a WAC team beat your PAC 12 team, it makes your statement look that much more humorous. Let me guess, you're going to counter my remarks by saying Utah has the better overall record against USU? Like we all haven't heard that comeback before. Either way, your Utes lost to the Aggies this year. That is the point. So do yourself a favor and leave the "better conference" talk out next time.
I am not happy with this. I wish him well, but here we go again. USU will fall back to its doormat days of only a few wins again.
@Drum and Feather,
Pool logic. Even great programs have bad years. Just because Auburn had a horrible year and didnt win an SEC game doesn't mean they aren't SEC material. They won the national championship 2 years ago, remember?
The difference between Utah and the other 2 schools in the state that like to beat their chests, the pinnacle of their success of the last 20 years(and future 20 years) will each be winning the WAC/MWC title. Hardly national news.
The pinnacle of Utah in the past 20 years(2 BCS bowls, 2 undefeated seasons, 1 season only undefeated team in the WHOLE country, 2 top 5 rankings, soon to be 2 #1 draft picks...)
See the difference?
20 years from now the next bronco will be talking about building bishops, and beating his chest over their recent 7-5 record, with 6 of the 7 wins against nobodies.
20 years from now the Aggies will have gone through 7 more coaches.
20 years from now Utah will have several more BCS wins.
Thanks for playing
So what does Chris do? That's right, bring up past stats like a champ. Guess what Chris, Utah still lost to Utah State. Do your stats say otherwise?
