Re: "Pedestrian safety"

Liberals decided long ago to sacrifice your safety [along with fiscal and common sense] on the altar of useless and expensive, but symbolically iconic, communal transport.

Bottom line? Liberals have demonstrated time and time again that they care far more about what their liberal friends might think of them, than they do about your granddaughter's life.

And, by the way, TRAX has not ". . . helped with transportation around town." It has made a bad situation demonstrably worse.

It does give you enough time. Don't dawdle, and don't start out after the light starts to change.

Did you consider using the skybridge at this location? I know Rocky thought it hideous, but it is safe, climate controlled, and you can "dawdle" all the day long. Thanks to Hutterite for reminding me that dawdle is a very descriptive word.

actually ALL traffic should have to stop including no right turns on red this way all those who need to cross the street can do so safely at once. Also I have noticed that when a person has the walk light there is always a driver who sees it that it's time for him/her to make their right hand turn therefore keeping the person from crossing.
