This is just too weird, even from the Utes, to see them dump BYU and pick up Fresno. What a joke on everyone, Dr. Hill. Good job of scheduling, sir, not that it will make any difference to the outcome in the mighty PAC 12 for your team. I am splitting my sides laughing over this one. Maybe you could get New Mexico for 2016 if Nothern Colorado isn't available.

Why didn't you insist on a 2 - 1 with Fresno? Wouldn't they agree to it?

I'd much prefer a game with BYU; it's a compelling, nationally-recognized rivalry.

Good game, Fresno is a solid program that is on the upswing. A really good early season test for the Utes.

It's absolutely ridiculous for Utah fans to argue that replacing BYU with Fresno State "improves" Utah's schedule.

As Hill said last July, it's not fair to Utah to play Michigan and BYU in the same season... in other words, you're just not good enough to handle playing BYU and another good OOC opponent.

Get over yourselves, offended BYU fans. You have a solid football program, but there are other teams worth playing besides your beloved Cougars.

BYU just finished a 7-5 season, and are currently ranked #34 by Sagarin. Fresno State finished the regular season 9-3, and are ranked #40.

When playing the Cougars, Bulldogs, Aggies, and Wolverines in the next four seasons, the Utes will have to play well to avoid a loss in the out of conference portion of the season.

Good luck in your bowl game, against a solid SDSU team - who isn't ranked as highly as Fresno State, by the way.....

If I were a BYU fan I would take it as a big slight. Maybe the Utes wanted to play someone they don't beat with regularity like BYU. What's left to prove against the kittens., nothing. Oh well, BYU still has 2016 to still try to get a victory against their PAC 12 Big Brother. Go Utes.

Great scheduling by Utah. It appears a lot of people don't know about Fresno State. Sorry BYU fans, you may need Utah, but the Utes certainly don't need BYU. BYU is on the outside looking in. Locked into a weak bowl, with no chance of joining a BCS conference. Karma!

Fresno will give Utah a better game than BYU does. Atleast Fresno won't quit halfway through the third quarter.

Our 2015 schedule looks great: no FCS opponents.

And no whiney, ankle-biting little brother either.

As for the other schedules: Boo for Weber St. and SUU, and ESPECIALLY Idaho St. I wish we would look to teams like Colorado St, UNLV, or Hawai'i if we feel we need a warm up game. Beating FCS teams proves nothing. Just last year, we routed No. Colorado 41-0, but that didn't help us identify what areas needed work. It just made us overconfident when heading up to Logan. And while UNCO would be a W, so too would have been CSU, UNLV, and UH. And at least Utah has some relationship with those aforementiond MWC teams. We used to be conference rivals. In fact, I believe CSU is our 4th most-played game behind USU, the Indy-WACers, and Wyoming.

LOVE the addition of Fresno St. It sure beats that rumor I'd heard that we were talking about series with Tulsa. Utah will have a better recruiting opportunity in NorCal than Oklahoma. Or Provostan for that matter.

The Utes don't need BYU; or there obnoxious fan base. The jealousy and envy is so sad. I guess that's how it goes when no conference wants your team. Just a Nomad, with no direction, future or hope. I love it! As soon as Gonzaga leaves the WCC, BYU will really be on the outside looking in. Maybe the WAC or Big Sky will take you in; or not.
