How is this possible when the laws were relaxed?!?
How can this be when just yesterday we argued that everything in the world was getting WORSE?
Congratulations to Utah citizens. DUI is for the most part preventable through education and law enforcement. Keep up the good work. The goal should be zero infractions. The only thing that seems to be getting worse are the fatuous comments in the DN.
"A grizzly prediction such as that seems jarring by today's standards, but it was standard fare back then", says the article. Does that mean that large bears (Ursus arctos horribilis) were eating motorists back then, or should it have been spelled "Grisly"?
This is impossible! According to Valentine & Waddroups, the increases in liquor licenses & getting rid of private club memberships would guarantee more DUI's & underage drinking. How could those two experts in alcohol be so wrong?
