Excellent article! Thank you for writing it! It cuts through the smoke and mirrors fog coming out of the White House and explains better than anything I have read or heard the only way we will save this country and ourselves!

Throughout the entire article the names Boehner and McConnell could easily be substituted for Obama's.

BOTH sides are equally guilty.

I read this at breakfast this morning and had one of those disorienting sensory experiences. I thought I was listening to Fox News.

Re: ". . . 'cutting' $800 billion by deciding not to build a ski resort on Mars."

C'mon George, don't give this regime any ideas.

But sadly, we fully expect to see something equally ridiculous placed "on the table" by a White House gang that, in its own "Mission Accomplished" moment, can't even bring itself to take "yes" for an answer.

The only comfort we can take from this farce is that blind political overreaching -- particularly when designed to produce personal and political benefit to themselves, while killing America -- will quickly produce effects that'll make Jimmy Carter look good.

Or Newt Gingrich either

Once again the far right engages into he exact same behavior they accuse everyone else of. Thanks george for once again showing the true shrill colors of the far right.

Again the Left, the Democrats, refuse to compromise and work with the Republicans.

Real cuts need to be made, everyone knows that.

Oh, how I wish more people were bewitched by the kind of common sense and simply honesty that Mr. Will routinely and regularly articulates but which has elsewhere become a very and increasingly rare oddity.
