What's laughable is Utah fans whining about BYU fans trolling a "Utah article", when Utah fans have been trolling a similar "BYU article" for days. Even more laughable was Utah fans spending more time taking pot shots at BYU, than congratulating their own players.

"show me something this decade, even this century"

Luke Staley - Doak Walker Award winner honoring the nation's best running back.

Just one of the numerous national individual awards BYU players have received.

The only one for BYU this century, but still, one more national individual award than the Utes have received in their ENTIRE HISTORY.

    Congratulations you two, well deserved!!

Laughable the trolling southies coming on this thread and trying to promote their own program with decades old accomplishments!! Very good little kitties - show me something this decade, even this century. Nothing? Thought so.

    Great to be a Ute!!

Remind us how the number of former players competing at the next level has any effect whatsoever on the the current state of the respective programs?

    btw,

Which team has a player who is featured on the cover of THIS WEEK's Sports Illustrated and is the talk of NFL scouts?

Which team just had another player inducted into the National College Football Hall of Fame?

I'm sure that recruits can distinguish between a program with decades of great football tradition and a johnny-come-lately program fading back into obscurity.

Wow - Two first team all americans and Utah can't even land a bowl game. Hopefully these two are back next year, or else . . .

    snack WAC,

Remind me how many players Bronco has recruited and put in the NFL?

    0? 1?

Kyle is over 20. And with Star and Reggie, make that at least 22.

I'm sure recruits know that too.

Unfortunately, the future of Utah football

is bcs conference bottom dweller and the closest you'll get to another bcs bowl is watching one from the comfort of your coach,

welcome to the couch potato bowl, enjoy the chips!

    -----

btw, Congratulations to Star and Reggie!

2 First team all americans playing the state of Utah.

I love being in a BCS conference, with BCS talent, BCS money, and playing for yet another BCS game.

P.S. No - the BCS essentially is staying.

You think significant(see currently BCS) bowls such as Rose, Orange, Fiesta, will be scheduling agreements with WAC teams?

    Nope.

The future of football in Utah,

    is Utah
