*should have said boise is getting votes.
lol @ CougFaninTXboise st is ranked. they just beat Creighton on
the road, and nearly beat Michigan State on the road. They are a good team.
But of course, trolling wihtout facts is the name of your game.
Nice to see the Utes pick up a road win. No matter how good the opponent is, it
is still harder to win on the road and its a good accomplishment for this
team.I hope this team can keep making strides forward and keep
improving. They will be facing some better teams soon enough.Go
LaughingIf my beloved Utes make the CBI, then they will have
eclipsed expectation. I hope you're right.
Both these teams are bad this year. At least some fan bases know that their team
isn't great, and aren't saying that Cal State Northridge is a solid
program...It is also probably an accurate assessment that both these
teams are CBI bound.
gonefishnOh c'mon, it isn't like Cougars fans didn't
hear all about that horrid season from Ute fans. Too typical, can dish it out
but can't take it when it's dished back.
Good to get the win. Good to have a winning record. I didn't realize it
was that longs since the last road win, woof. It's progress. If
they can go 4-1 over the next 5 games, that puts the team an 9-2, which is a
great place to be going into the PAC-12 season. I think the team is good enough
to pull off some upsets, but continue to have some head scratchers. I do expect
them to improve, hopefully pull off some Pac-12 wins on the road. If last
year's team could pull off 3 Pac-12 wins, I would expect this team to win
5-6, and that leaves them with a 14-15 win season, which I think is a very
successful one.I'm encouraged by what the staff is doing, and
how the players are respondingGo Utes.
Nice W Utes!It is undeniable that this team is better than last
year. OOC schedule aside, if you know anything about basketball, you recognize
this. How much better will be determined this week.Go Utes!
The Utes have seen the highs and are working their way out of the lows, I am
glad to see the improvement. As for the BYU fans derisive comments, I find them
ironic. It is like they have forgotten the late 90's when their team was
busy winning 1 game and the Utes were going to sweet 16's, elite 8's
and the final four. Not to mention the fact that BYU had their best offensive
player (Fredette) and best Defender (Emery) in school history and they could
only muster a sweet 16 appearance.Maybe the Utes and Cougs will get a 2nd
chance to play one another when they both get invited to the College Basketball
Invitational (CBI)tournament at the end of the season.
Nice job getting that first road win! Keep building fellas
Nice to see a road win. Way to go Utes!
"It's on," Krystkowiak said. "I think this week feels a little
bit like Pac-12 basketball."Boise State feels like Pac12? BYU
could finish in the upper half of the PAC, but Boise State? Wait until you go
to Tucson.I still think this non-conference schedule did nothing to
prepare Utah for PAC12 basketball. The only challenging teams are BYU, SMU and
Northridge. Utah should have scheduled a couple of other challenging games like
Utah State or an old MWC foe like Colorado St to help them improve. This
schedule may make a few boosters feel a little better with a few extra wins but
it does very little for the teams development. Unfortunately, I still think the
Utes will only win 2 or 3 games in conference play and have a real chance of
losing them all. Can't wait for the Utah vs BYU game.
It's certainly nice to get a road win, way to go Utes! This week is going
to be much more tough, both teams a very good teams. This will be a nice
measuring stick just to see how far we've come! Let's go Utes,
sammygQuiet U.The Utes just beat the 276th ranked team
on the road; show some respect.
Well the Utes might be able to beat up Boko the Bobcat in TX but when they come
to Provo next week, I'm pretty sure Cosmo the Cougar will be ready to play
