This may make Utah only the second best program in the state going forward.

Aggies are legit

Cedar City, Utah

Gotta hand it to him. He's saying all the right things to the press.

maybe for one year he should go while he is on top beofre he plays in the MWC

Logan, Utah

@ Stang08

There are many who even after seeing with their own eyes still did not believe. Coach A has officially put all the rumors to rest and there are still people who are speculating. Why is it so hard to believe that the best team, best QB, and best coach are all in Cache Valley? I know this may be hard to swallow for some people, but it's true so get used to it. And it's going to be true for years to come it looks like.

Yes, Chris, the Aggies are legit. And the Utes are not, at least not since Andersen left.

Logan, UT

Stain is yet again in denial that the Aggies have the best team, coach, and future in the state for the foreseeable future.

Coach Andersen has officially announced he is staying. Y'all can stop speculating now.

Thanks for clearing that up Gary. Nice to know that anyone with half a brain will stop with the rumors... At least until next year.

Cedar City, Utah

I'm not the only one who is saying this. Look at tomba. Shouldn't you guys be getting on him as well? I'm just saying Anderson knows how to play the game with the press if infact he is considering another job. I don't know and you don't know. But go ahead and call me whatever names you want guys. Especially you Sambone, you are the best at it LOL.

Great news! As a long time Aggie it has been a joy watching Andersen turn the program around. I fully expect USU to be on top of the MWC next year as Keeton continues to improve and the defense becomes even more dominating. Thanks Coach!

Cedar City, Utah

Being on top of the MWC next year is gonna be as hard as being on top of the WAC this year. Way to easy for anyone to do. Yes Blue even SUU.

I wonder if there is a limit to how many football programs can succeed at the same time in a small state. It would be cool if we could catch lightning in a bottle one of these years and have UofU, USU, and BYU all be legitimate contenders. Of course, it would also be cool if Utah would actually schedule both BYU and USU.

And that's why SUU can't even top the Big Sky, huh Stang?

Great story to hear of a coach passing on the biggger bucks and bigger programs to be loyal to school, players and community.

Well, at least it sounds like he won't pull an Urban Meyer and ditch the state of Utah the second he has a good season, eh Ute fans?

I hope he sticks around, though if he continues to have success here in Logan, I don't think he'll turn down all the offers he'll have coming in.

Hey Levin, go check out Utah's OCC schedule next season....

Hightstown, NJ

Hey, Two for Flinching, check out Utah's OOC schedule for every season after next.

But, seriously, maybe next year we'll be lucky and all three teams will be good in a year they play each other. I sincerely hope so.

It is truly gratifying to know that BYU defeated the best team, the best coach and the best future in the state of Utah, and I mean that only in the most complimentary way possible.

Looking forward to many tremendous rivalry games with USU in the future, hoping BYU can prove equal to the challenge. I am so very impressed with Coach A. Well done Aggies!
